Product Overview
Sandblasting hose is designed for use with pneumatic sandblasting equipment for rust removal, surface cleaning, and abrasive finishing of metal surfaces.
The inner rubber layer provides abrasion resistance. The outer rubber cover provides aging resistance and wear resistance. Textile cord reinforcement is available in 2-layer or 4-layer constructions, depending on the hose size.
The standard working pressure is 12 bar. The burst pressure is at least four times the working pressure. Abrasion resistance options of 50 mm³, 65 mm³, and 110 mm³ are available, according to ISO 4649:2002. This standard reference applies to the stated abrasion resistance information; it does not establish certification of the complete hose or conformity with other hose standards.
The minimum burst pressure of 48 bar is calculated as 4 × 12 bar from the stated burst-to-working-pressure ratio; it is not a separately listed test result. The listed dimensions and pressures describe the standard specifications; customized specifications depend on the requested configuration.
